These leathers are tanned using a special moisture proofing tanning process which gives these kamui tips there black color and humidity resistance. Kamui Brand of Japan found a way to apply this process without deminishing the porosity of the leather, adding more elasticity to the Kamui Blacks and protecting the tip from enviromental changes and damage.
